Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Lake Missoula Ventures, LLC ("Mango Tuesday", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible and to never sell it.

1. Who is responsible

Lake Missoula Ventures, LLC is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at ryan@mangotuesday.com, or by post at 134 Lowell Street, Apt. 1, Somerville, MA 02143, United States.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: such as your email address and name, when you write to us, ask for support, or sign up for launch news.
  • Order details: when you buy a Plugin, the products you bought, your licence, and the email used for delivery. Your licence file is personalised: it embeds the name and email address you purchased with, and the Plugin may display them on its licence screen. The licence file is verified on your own computer and is never transmitted back to us by the Plugin.
  • Trial requests: if you start a free 14-day trial, the email address you enter and which Plugin you chose. We use them to create and email your personalised trial licence, and we keep a record of the trial (the product, your email address, and the licence serial) so we can re-send the same licence if you ask again and prevent abuse. The trial form adds you to our mailing list only if you tick that box; the trial itself never signs you up for marketing.
  • Forum account and posts: if you join the forum, your email address (used only to sign you in and, if you keep the switch on, to tell you about replies), the display name you choose, and whatever you post. Threads and replies are public: anyone can read them and search engines can index them. Your email address is never shown. Want a post, or the whole account, removed? Email us and it happens.

Payment information

Our checkout is operated by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your card number and full payment details go directly to Paddle and are never seen or stored by us. We receive only what we need to fulfil and account for your order, for example a confirmation of payment, the last digits or card brand, and your billing country. Paddle handles this data under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. Most of this site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The exception is two pages tied to our ads: the ad landing page (/list/) and the signup confirmation page (/subscribed/) load the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies (such as _fbp) and tells Meta when those pages load and when a signup completes, so we can measure whether our ads work. Meta handles that data under its own privacy policy, and its ad-preference tools let you limit how it is used. The rest of the site stays tracker-free, and if that ever changes we will describe it here first.

3. How we use your information

  • to deliver Plugins, licences, receipts, and the updates and support tied to them;
  • to answer your messages and provide customer support;
  • to send launch or product news only if you asked for it (you can opt out at any time);
  • to keep records we are legally required to keep, such as for tax and accounting;
  • to protect the site and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to deliver and support what you bought); your consent (for optional marketing emails); our legitimate interests (to secure the site and improve our products); and compliance with legal obligations (accounting and tax).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Paddle, our merchant of record, which collects your payment and billing details as the seller of record and is an independent controller of that data under its own privacy policy, as described in section 2;
  • Service providers who help us operate, for example our email-sending provider (the emails you asked for) and our database and website-hosting providers, and only to the extent they need it to do that work;
  • Meta, through the pixel on our ad landing and signup confirmation pages only, as described in section 2, so we can measure our ads;
  • Authorities, if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: order and tax records for as long as the law requires, support messages for as long as useful to help you, and marketing-list entries until you unsubscribe. After that we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA/UK you may also complain to your data-protection authority. If you are in California, we do not sell or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and you may exercise your rights without discrimination. To make a request, email ryan@mangotuesday.com; we may need to verify your identity first.

8. International transfers

We and our providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect it in transit and at rest.

9. Children

Our site and products are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, and we deliberately minimise what we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the surface small.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the business grows, for instance when we open the store. We will post the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, do our best to let you know.
