The idea
Hum is for the melody you would lose on the walk to the keyboard. Sing it, hum it, whistle it, and clean MIDI lands in your DAW, snapped to the key you are working in, with velocity that follows how you sang.
The display is what earns the trust: a pitch lane, a gate meter, and a state chip that says why a note fired or did not. One sensitivity knob means the same thing on any microphone, and when the take matters, Accurate mode reports its latency so the line sits exactly where you sang it.
