- 01 Up to 24 bands: cuts, shelves, bells, notch, band pass, tilt
- 02 Slopes from 6 to 96 dB/oct plus a brickwall
- 03 Per-band dynamic EQ, detected from the band or an external sidechain
- 04 Per-band Stereo / Left / Right / Mid / Side routing
- 05 Zero-latency and linear-phase modes, oversampling to 4x
- 06 EQ match with polarity: match a reference, or carve space around it
- 07 Latency-compensated bypass and a reported FIR tail, so A/B and bounces line up
The idea
Grade is the EQ for the deep work: the surgical notch, the gentle shelf, the dynamic band that only moves when the vocal pushes. Up to twenty-four bands cover the whole map, and every one of them can listen before it acts, to itself or to a sidechain.
The flagship features are here because we wanted them ourselves. Mid and side routing, linear phase for the master, match with polarity so you can carve space around a reference instead of copying it, and A/B with independent undo, so you can argue with yourself safely.
